Effects of Medicine on Body
Now the use of medicine became normal in our daily life. But have we thoughts of effect of medicine on our body?
Chemical medicine causes unwanted side-effects on body e.g. allergic reactions, hair fall, gastrointestinal effects, depleting mental and body health etc. From the homely aspirin to the most sophisticated prescription medicine on the market, all drugs come with side effects. Typically, warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven), used to prevent blood clots, usually works well and isn’t bothersome, but serious internal bleeding can happen in the wrong situation. This occurs because those chemicals affects thousands of reaction taking place inside our body. While doing research it is very hard to take every reaction into account. That’s why we take only short term or direct impacts of those medicine on our body.
Conditions in which medicine were tested and the conditions in which it is being used can never be same. Therefore, the changes, either body change (such as pregnancy) or environment change (such as extreme hot weather), influences the chemical reactions of medicine with the body, affecting the natural body processes.
Further, our food style and alcohol also influences the body response for chemical intake. Alcohol can affect medicines for high blood pressure and travel sickness. Antibiotics when interact with alcohol can cause headache or irregular heartbeat.
Remember, when you see such adverse effect, it is an emergency call! Go to doctor.
