Now Science also bow down in front of Indian culture. It also found that wearing ornaments/jewellery is good and improve health. Ornaments are very much necessary for all. Some wear for enhancing beauty, some wear for reducing heat on body and some wear for reducing health problems.
Rings
It is the most common ornament worn by both men and women. Ring finger has a nerve which is connected to heart through brain. Thumb rings are said to stimulate the pleasure hormones. Usually, rings are not worn on middle finger because the nerve of this finger passes through the brain divider line and if any metallic friction is here, then there is a confusion in the brain which affects decision-making ability.
Earrings
The earrings are mostly made of gold. The ear piercing ritual is very significant for girls and boys. The nerves connect to the eyes and in females, it is connected to the reproductive organs. Therefore, wearing an earring provides friction which results in better eyesight.
Nose Ring
According to Ayurveda, piercing the nose near a particular node on the nostril helps in lessening the pain during monthly periods in women. Hence, girls as well as older women are supposed to wear nose rings. It is preferred that women wear nose rings on the left nostril are associated with the female reproductive organs. Piercing the nose at this position helps in easing childbirth.
Bangles
Bangles regularize the blood circulation in the body. Furthermore, the electromagnetic energy passing out through outer skin is again reverted to one’s own body because of the ring shaped bangles, which has no ends to pass the energy outside. Mangalsutra attracts a lot of positive and divine energy. In a Mangalsutra, the two golden cups are hollow from one side and is raised on the other side. The Mangalsutra is worn with the hollow side facing the body so that the positive energies are attracted towards the void of the cups. This helps to keep the body and mind healthy. It also regularises the blood circulation in body.
Kamarband
Kardhani or kamarband is another ornament which is of great significance. It is worn on the waist by women. It helps in regulating the menstrual periods and provides relief from the menstrual cramps. A silver kardhani is said to control belly fat.
